Ignorance
is like darkness that can be eradicated by the
light of Knowledge. Knowledge helps us understand
the importance of each and every little thing
around us. Mamata Educational Society endeavours
to illuminate and spread the light as far and
as much as possible. Mamata Educational Society
was established in the year 1992, with the sole
purpose of providing training in the specialised
field of medicine. The dearth of good Medical
Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and also the wide gap
in the number of students seeking admission and
the number of seats available prompted the emergence
of Mamata Medical College. The academic courses
commenced in the year 1998, followed by the Dental
College in the year 2001 and Postgraduation courses
in Medical Sciences in 2003. As of now, Mamata
Medical College is the only self funded Medical
College in the State of Andhra Pradesh to having
been recognised by the Medical council of India
and Govt. of India for five years for maintaining
the stipulated norms. The attached teaching hospital
is full-fledged with all the major departments
fully equipped and well staffed. The district
of Khammam has quality medical and healthcare
facilities within its reach, thanks to Mamata. |
