Decennial
Celebrations:
A two day hectic program
was organized in the month of January 2008 to celebrate Mamata Medical
College decennial year. Various cultural, literary and sports events
were held. State Cabinate Ministers Sri. Sambani Chandra Shekar, Sri.
Vanama Venkateswar Rao, Sri.Puvvada Nageswar Rao, Sitting Member of
Legislative Council, Sri.Shashi Bhushan Kumar, District
Collector,Khammam were guests of honour. Sri.P. Ajay Kumar, Chairman,
M.E.S presided over the function and welcomed the guests.
Dr.K.Koteshwer Rao, Principal, Mamata Medical College, Khammam proposed
vote of thanks. Sri. Vande Mataram Srinivas and his group along with
college students conducted variety of entertainment program.

Graduation
Day;
Graduation Day 2008 was
held at 10 am on 02-01-2009 at Puvvada Auditorium in Mamata Medical
College campus. Dr.A.V.Krishnam Raju, Vice Chancellor, Dr. NTRUHS,
Vijayawada was the chief guest and Sri.P. Ajay Kumar, President, Mamata
Educational Society was guest of honor. The young graduates/doctors who
received certificates include 28 PG students, 16 M.Sc. (medical), 148
MBBS, 104 BDS and 26 B.Sc. (nursing) students. Principal, Dr. K.
Koteshwer Rao, welcomed and presented the list of graduates to chief
guest. Nearly thousand people including parents and faculty witnessed
the function.

Fresher’s
Day:
“Lead, Empower, Deliver”
was the wonderful message given to the freshers of Mamata Medical
College by the Chief Guest Sri. Mahesh Murali Bhagavat, IPS, SP,
Khammam, on Fresher’s Day celebration on 03-10-2008. He also gave an
over view on ragging a social evil. Sri.P. Ajay Kumar, President, MES,
emphatically said that directives of Andhra Pradesh
Government are strictly implemented by the college. He also said one of
the objectives of Mamata Medical College is to produce doctors with
rural biased innovative approaches in medical education and
health care for rural people. Dr.K.Koteshwer Rao, Dean welcomed the
students and parents.

Annual
Day:
Institutional annual day
was celebrated on 02-01-09.The vice chancellor Dr.NTRUHS,Vijayawada was
the chief guest and Sri.P.Nageswar Rao, MLC and Sri P.Ajay Kumar,
President, MES were guests of honor. Chief Guest gave away gold medals
to meritorious students and prizes to other winners in games and
literary competitions. Later students and staff presented a Cultural
programme.

9001-2000 on 07-11-2008.This certificate is valid for providing MBBS,PG
Medical courses and General hospital services.
